How to Apply

The Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP awards a number of different studentships. In addition to the main field of studentships, the DTP annually awards a number of UKRI-BBSRC-supported industrial CASE (iCASE) studentships that enable eligible students to work with a specific academic supervisor or supervisory team within the DTP and with a specific non-academic organisation.

Candidates are also invited to apply for partner studentships, which support research undertaken under the joint supervision of academics at the University of Oxford or Oxford Brookes University and our partner organisations at the Oxford Harwell Campus (Diamond Light Source, ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, STFC Central Laser Facility, The Research Complex at Harwell, Rosalind Franklin Institute) and at the Pirbright Institute. Studentships with the Novo Nordisk Research Centre Oxford are awarded through our iCASE studentship programme. Candidates who would like to be considered for a partner studentship through our rotation studentship programme should apply directly to the Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP and state in their application that they wish to be considered for a Harwell Studentship or a Pirbright Studentship. We also offer specific partner studentships that can be found here.
