Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience Symposium

Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP Symposium

The Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience Symposium brings together researchers from the research organisations involved in the Oxford DTP (University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, The Pirbright Institute, Diamond Light Source, ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, STFC Central Laser Facility, The Rosalind Franklin Institute, the Research Complex at Harwell and NNRCO) together with researchers from industry and non-academic organisations.

The DTP’s annual symposium event is designed to facilitate discussion and interaction across a broad bioscience remit that ranges from fundamental research in molecular, cellular and integrative biology through to applied research in fields such as crop science, industrial biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and animal health and welfare.

The event provides an opportunity to learn more about future plans for graduate training and bioscience research across DTP partner organisations, about research facilities and capabilities available, and about mechanisms for engagement with DTP organisations.

The most recent Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP Symposium was held on 19th-20th June 2024.
